Get Your Mobility Mojo On
If your IT team is struggling with any of the many issues surrounding mobility in the enterprise, CTIA - The Wireless Association is aiming to help you this fall. After several years during which the organization tried to marry two very strange bedfellows - mobile media and wireless IT - into a single fall event, the organization has rebranded its October 2010 conference. This year's event, CTIA Enterprise & Applications, is being held at the Moscone Center in San Francisco, October 6-8, 2010
In addition to longstanding pre-show educational events, such as the Andy Seybold Wireless University Day on October 5, there will be several new conference tracks of interest to CIOs and their IT teams. These include a new seminar that will tackle the many security issues which organizations are facing around mobility in the enterprise. It's hosted by our team here at CIO Insight along with our sister publication eWeek, and our parent company Ziff Davis Enterprise. The event will be held on October 7 from 11 a.m. - 2 p.m and attendance is free with your CTIA registration.
In addition, CTIA is partnering with the Enterprise Mobility Foundation on the Enterprise Mobility Boot Camp. This event is for IT and telecom professionals focused on building and managing an enterprise-wide wireless strategy. It runs October 5-6 concurrent with the CTIA trade show. The Enterprise Mobility Boot Camp registration fee will be $375 ($325 before August 25) and will include an attendee exhibit pass to CTIA Enterprise & Applications. Session topics include:
- Hot Issues of the Day for Enterprise Mobility
- Hands-on Mobile Strategy/Policy Workbook
- Mobile Application Strategies
- Speed Networking
- Ask the Experts
