The Justice Department is investigating alleged collusion between big tech companies to manipulate the labor market and keep worker salaries down. Dignan pooh-poohs the entire thing, before acknowledging that he knows nothing about it. He may well be right about the first part; the second part is not in question. Possibly related: thoughts on the non-evilness of Google. |

They have flooded the labor market with 138000* foreigners per month for years, thus "compressing wages"
I was interested in a senior level job in Napa county until I saw that the salary range topped out many thousands of dollars short of my mid level starting salary of 1998.
Feds conclusive proof.
