Search Ads Stronger in Weak Economy


Search-advertising is growing faster than display ads online. The weak economy is cited as a factor, with advertisers seeking the safety of the targeted approach.

More here: "JP Morgan internet analyst Imran Khan is lowering his online ad spend forecast into next year due to the worsening economy." The projected growth rate for the weakest sector, display adds, is still a healthy 14%, to $8.2 billion.
