Obama's online organization

Political blogger Matt Stoller has an interesting post about Obama's campaign organization, which has a significant online component.

The Obama campaign seems to have cracked the code on a lot of the organizational issues we discussed last summer -- and Stoller says it challenges the organization of the Democratic Party itself.

More here from Micah Sifry: "Whether Obama wins or loses in the fall, this network is going to be a game-changer."

One key issue discussed in our article was the development of the electronic voter file. Much more on that here.

More here: Obama delegates learn to self-organize.

Related: I wrote recently about Facebook's value as an organizing tool, but Colin Delaney says the free service has issues of scale and focus that limit it's value in large campaigns.
