Arrington says, "the target is really Windows." Carr says it's all about the cloud, with the "real goal...to upgrade the capabilities of all browsers so that they can better support (and eventually disappear behind) the applications. The browser may be the medium, but the applications are the message." It's been a while since my mom shamed me into switching to Firefox, so I guess I should spend some time with it, and with Google's Chrome. Below, page one of the comic-strip intro to Chrome. |

I just read something -- and now, unfortunately, I can't remember where -- that said Cloud's TOS license anything you do with it to Google. I haven't had time to read the whole TOS, but IF that's the case, that's going to cast a serious pall over the product. My IP, and electronic health records for that matter, aren't going without a fight.
