Sorry, Twitter-haters, but the microblogging service has a new fan: the State Department, which reportedly urged Twitter's managers to delay scheduled downtime because tweets from Iran are providing critical intelligence on the situation there. I can't believe I'm still arguing in favor of social media's importance in 2009. |
