Are things getting better for Twitter? Venture Beat says the company's usage numbers look good, but it's hard to see a CIO relying on the micro-messaging service for mission-critical jobs anytime soon.

Dave Winer has some thoughts that should be interesting to enterprise IT folks who see the value of a Twitter-like service but need more stability than Twitter has been able to offer so far.
