Twitter for Dummies

Adam Lashinsky explains Twitter for readers who are "over 25 and don't live in a trendy coastal metropolis."

The use by JetBlue for customer-service notifications should interest enterprise types (think how handy that would have been when the airline was floundering last year).

Lashinsky puts a happy face on Twitter's outages. Enterprise users can't afford to be so cheerful. As we've said before, "Twitter has a great concept with all kinds of potential value for enterprise users. But...other vendors, and even purpose-built enterprise systems, could fill the gap if [parent company] Obvious doesn't get its act together."
