Occam’s Razor states that the simplest explanation is usually true. Unfortunately, in the corporate word, we continuously find a disconnection in between developers, marketing and the designers group -- for the most part, the person in charge of product development is someone with a degree on business or even Criminal Justice, that is the sad reality of the corporate word. The final output is a usually, a very complicated version, full of text, wrong messages, with more clicks to navigate through than they ever need it, they love having 2 or 3 navigation systems, 2 on the top, 1 in the left, sometimes an extra one per internal page, users doesn't even know where they are, but that is what they like. The sensation of organization, a clean interface, space, makes them nervous -- I guess we will have to filter another 5 years of OLD SCHOOL executives in order to start having better results.
