Google, Good and Bad

Good Google finally stands up to censorship, and may leave China altogether.

Could be time to revise Slide 9.

UPDATE: Nick Carr writes, "Google's motivations are not as pure as they may appear...Like many other Western companies, Google has shown that it is willing to compromise its ideals in order to reach Chinese consumers. What it's not willing to compromise is the security of the cloud, on which its entire business rests."

Bad Google launches a consumer hardware product without working out the customer-service implications.

Could be time to add a slide to this deck.
