Highlighting Alignment's Successes

Baseline's annual analysis of IT-savvy businesses keeps a positive light on the tough, bulky issue of alignment.

Our friends over at Baseline are up with their annual analysis (along with the BTM Institute) of businesses that use technology best.

It's a whole lot different than the package I worked on last year, but the focus on business-IT alignment is timely, particularly since it's the top concern for CIOs this year.

(Now, I'm using the term "alignment" because it's the most recognizable regarding the integration of business and IT. BTM has some different thoughts on the matter, but I'll let them explain in the Baseline package.)

Besides the lead story, click through to case studies on Verizon, NetApp, General Motors, Marriott and Pitney Bowes. Lots of good learnings there.
